Eating in Melton Mowbray is More Than Pork Pies
Posted by PR Nottingham on June, 25th 2010There is so much more to Melton Mowbray than its world famous pies. Its list of fine restaurants could be added to its fame. There is a good selection of dinning opportunities in Melton Mowbray, from British, Indian and Italian. It is also the proud location of Leicestershire’s only Thai Restaurant. In the area around Melton Mowbray restaurants are spread out with only three in the actual town itself. The rest are in more rural locations.
If you fancy a ride out into the countryside, a beautiful place to stop and eat lunch or dinner is The Red House. It is located on the A606 that runs leisurely between Rutland Water and Nottingham. This restaurant is well worth the find, offering superb British fayre. The restaurant listing site www.godine.co.uk particularly recommends The Red House for a summer’s evening meal. There is an outside barbeque and eating area under a large marquee. Sitting outside on a balmy evening you can soak up the fine atmosphere, eat the excellent food whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Leicestershire’s countryside.
The big problem with restaurants that are in out of the way places is their lack of passing trade and general invisibility. The Red House may be serving the best British food in the country, but if nobody knows it won’t do a good trade. This is where a liaison between jprmarketing.co.uk and www.godine.co.uk is really paying off. With jpr’s marketing abilities, customers are being pointed towards The Red House via godine’s website, enabling more dinners to enjoy a lovely summer’s evening in one of the most beautiful areas of England.
